Our client is a global specialist in the manufacture and innovative solutions for leading players in the automotive sector. Due to continued success, they now require two Technical Maintenance Supervisors to join their experienced team.

Working as part of a team to deliver maintenance support to the manufacturing department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to both technical and process shift Engineers.

Key responsibilities will include:
? Implementation and management and sustainment of continuous improvement activities
? Coaching and development of the department
? Supporting the Maintenance Manager with future strategies in coping with new introduction of machinery
? Development of plans for apprentices to support their education and progression
? Provide front line support on and off shift in line working rota
? Provide technical assistance, training and guidance to the maintenance and process engineers
? Effectively manage and when needed prioritize the workload in each focus factory, working closely with Production Shift Coordinators
? Ensure compliance to TPM plan
? Coach and mentor engineers concerning safe working habits and rigorous trouble shooting practices
? Carry out structured improvements to improve product quality

Ideal Experience:
? Engineering qualification either electrical or mechanical e.g. C&G/HNC
? Minimum of 4 years experience in first line management within a fast-paced production environment
? Proven coaching skills with a TPM background
? An understanding of lean methods & continuous improvement processes would be beneficial though not essential
? Previous experience fault finding on Siemens S7 PLC's and ABB Kuka robots would be highly desirable
? Conversant with automotive quality and health & safety standards

The successful candidate will be performance driven, with a progressive approach to both engineering and management. This role would be ideal for a Supervisor that is now looking for a real opportunity to progress into a Senior Management position within an international company.

Working a rotating shift pattern, our client are offering a very competitive salary (depending on experience), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 3x death in service and a private company pension
