A specialist manufacturer and a primary supplier of automated systems and equipment solutions supporting the Aerospace, Automotive & Metal Industries worldwide, is now looking for an Electrical Fitter due to expansion.|
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Electrical Fitter will work as part of a dedicated team of four to build electrical systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings.
Your Duties include:
* Construction of electrical systems and equipment to concise engineering drawings and production timescales
* Fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment
* Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations, worldwide
* Adhere to the company policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds (electrical qualification) or will be Electrical apprentice trained.
You will have 3 years of electrical equipment assembly experience along with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team. Sound knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes would be highly advantageous.
You will be self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks as well as keen to accept responsibility and accountability. Strong communication skills, professional manner and the ability to represent the company to a high standard are essential pre-requisites.
The role requires the ability to travel worldwide and you need to hold a Full & Clean driving licence. The role is based in Shropshire and is commutable from within and around the following locations: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury and Stafford.
