My client is a leading global bespoke machinery manufacturer based in Norwich. They have a current opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join their team to carry out multi skilled maintenance to plant and machinery. This is a day shift role Monday-Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Technical Support

* Provision of day to day technical support for plant and associated ancillary equipment. Work closely with Production Superintendent and Department Engineer, to ensure equipment is effectively maintained to minimise impact on production
* Use production metrics and maintenance information to identify areas with improvement opportunities and to prioritise workload
* Cover and support for facilities maintenance & repair work

* Planned Maintenance

* Provision of structured planned maintenance programmes for all plant and associated equipment. Organise and maintain programme to maximise plant effectiveness and minimise downtime
* Ensure maintenance is carried out in a cost effective manner, operating within budgetary constraints
* Ensure full compliance with relevant statutory requirements

* Small Works Project Management

* To undertake specification, management and delivery for a range of small works projects to pressroom and ancillary equipment. Ensuring in-specification, on-time and on-budget delivery of project

Person Specification

* The successful candidate will be qualified to HNC engineering level or equivalent. Ideally both in electrical & mechanical engineering including 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Manufacturing maintenance experience? strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and industrial skills with some Servo drive experience. PLC programming experience is advantageous
* Electrical Fault-finding (motors, switchgear, control circuits)
* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and
* PC skills to create TPM & other related maintenance documentation
