Are you an Engineer seeking for an exciting new challenge? Do you thrive in rewarding, supportive, busy, team-based environments? If this sounds like you, we may have the ideal opportunity based from our workshop in Crawley. As an Electro-Mechanical Repairs Technician, you will respond to queries and faults that occur within our electro-mechanical based equipment which consists of automated fare collection units and ticketing components. You will be required to carry out a small number of administrative tasks, including documenting repairs on customer service databases and replacing components such as belts, bearings, gears, solenoid, motors and PCB boards.
What we're looking for in you:
You will have proven experience working as a Workshop or Field engineer (or within a related production based environment). You will have extensive experience using hand tools and basic soldering equipment as well as assembly and disassembly (with or without the aid of circuit diagrams and drawings). You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a challenge and possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills. The ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate flexibility is essential as you will be required to switch from repairing one module to another in a fast paced (but exciting!) environment.
How was your commute today?
