Operations Director, Poole, £50,000.|
A family run, highly successful business located in Poole is looking to bring an Operations Director into the company to assist with the management of all staff across Production, Assembly, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, Accounts, Goods In & Out and Printing. This is an opportunity for you to really make an impact on a small and thriving business, influencing change for the better and reporting as part of the board, directly into the Managing Director.
The successful candidate will have the ability to implement processes and to streamline, ensuring the operation and teams run as efficiently as possible. Experience in KPI setting is key and managing a variety of direct reports. Your team will total around 15 and alongside your management responsibilities you will be accountable for all staff issues and recruitment. You will liaise with suppliers, meet customers and represent the business in sourcing new suppliers.
Experience within Health & Safety would be an added advantage as would working knowledge of Sage. Essential experience is a strong history of management and achievements in Production and Supply Chain within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment.
