The role of Senior Email Developer is a core enabler in the onward Manchester Airport Group development of the email channel and personalisation. This is a fabulous chance to join a rapidly expanding organisation, initially on a 6 month FTC (or day rate capacity) with the potential of securing a longer term more permanent role.
Working closely with the Head of CRM and other CRM Email developers, you will help develop and refine Airport Retail CRM Marketing driving increasing customer engagement through strong content and also transactional based travel communications.
You will plan and deliver successful email programs for all four airports within the group (Manchester, Stansted, East Midlands & Bournemouth) with the objective of growing in-terminal and ECommerce revenue. You will also pick up basic level email marketing performance reporting.
To achieve this, you must have strong understanding of direct marketing principles, a passion for results and experience of using email service platforms and HTML and have experience of using MS Excel. The ability to work enthusiastically, closely and effectively with marketing and commercial colleagues is also essential.
  • Manage and execute email marketing program requirements for airport retail communications.
  • Manage the process of planning, sourcing and producing content for email including some HTML editing. Moving forward, leading the development of retail dynamic content and ensuring communications are relevant and timely.
  • Constantly test, measure and roll out to optimise channel impact.
  • Manage retail email marketing reporting through Eloqua and Google Analytics / Comscore to maximise campaign ROI.
  • Deliver marketing operational efficiency through the use of automation and trigger programs.
  • Select appropriate audiences using the Eloqua ESP tool.
  • Supporting the CRM and wider Commercial Teams with insight and quickly utilising actionable data.
  • Using strong planning and prioritising skills across four airports therefore ensuring work is coordinated and effectively managed.
  • Demonstrating good communication and problem solving skills with key stakeholders.
