A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Systems Administrator to join our team in Quantico, VA .MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED.

Position Functions or Responsibilities: Project Description : This client develops and operates an enterprise-wide training system for its entire organization. The enterprise-wide training system is comprised of a number of commercial and custom build components integrated together to provide to meet its mission needs. The client develops the custom components, integrates the various components together, and performs the necessary operations support to manage the system on a day-to-day basis. The client requires contractor staff to augment its development and operations team and provide particular skills in order to perform specific development and operations tasks such as project management, help desk, documentation, customer support, course/training development, applications development, database development/administration, systems analysis, etc.

Role : The Systems Administrator (SA) is responsible for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of the client's Learning Management System (LMS). Some of the duties and responsibilities the SA may be called upon to do include:

• Maintain and implement policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the requirements and meet the needs of staff. • Install and configure systems and applications, as needed. Create and maintain systems documentation, as needed. • Install new servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, storage, etc. • Perform daily system monitoring to verify reliability and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes. • Perform user account creation and maintenance. • Respond to IT support helpdesk tickets, and triage tickets that need to be escalated. • Perform daily system backups. • Perform routine audit of systems and software.

Basic Qualifications:
Requirements :
• Must have fully adjudicated/active Top Secret security clearance • Must have a bachelor degree • Must have a minimum of six (6) years as a Systems Administrator
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Desired Skills :
• Systems Administration training and/or certification, e.g. MCSA, MCSE, etc. • Masters degree in IT, Project/Program Management • Experience with educational course development or instructional design
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
