Your new company
Your new company are a reputable food manufacturer that supply a number of wet and dry products into all major retailers. The company are part of a global brand and supply branded and own label products. Due to a change in shift patterns there is now some additional requirements within this site.
Your new role
As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer you will work a continental shift pattern and will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance to a range of production machinery and equipment including weighers, cooking vessels, pick and place robots (FANUC), conveyors etc. The company have a big emphasis on continuous improvement so will expect you to work with this culture and attitude. You will be electrically biased but have a good working knowledge of mechanical maintenance too. The site is operated using a mixture of PLC systems including Siemens and Allen Bradley so you will be required to fault find and interrogate on this equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be electrically biased and qualified to HNC level. You will also hold a wiring regulations certificate such as 16th or 17th edition. Ideally you will have worked within food manufacturing environments in order to best understand food hygiene regulations and HACCP.
