My client is a market leading manufacturer or Special Purpose Machinery and due to organic growth within the company, they are looking to take on a skilled Technical Customer Service Engineer. |
The appointed Technical Customer Service Engineer will be responsible for providing first line support to a large number of clients, assisting the with queries and faults with their machinery.
The primary responsibilities of the Technical Customer Service Engineer are outlined below:
Providing trouble shooting over the phone in order to diagnose and attempt to repair faulty customer machinery
Liaise with customers' maintenance department to provide technical support on how to repair faulty machinery
To book out field service engineers when over the phone support is not sufficient
Ensuring all relevant information is documented on the MRP computer database
To liaise with the engineering department on frequent faults in order to assist with future development of products
The successful Technical Customer Service Engineer must be able to supply detailed technical support so a history in engineering or production is required.
