Business Development Manager (M+E Maintenance) - London - £negotiable + bonus|
Our client is an expanding building services maintenance company providing a range of Maintenance Solutions which incorporate Fire, Security, HVAC, Public health, M&E and Fabric services. They have a number of prestigious contracts in the retail, distribution, commercial, and public sectors and are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager based in south east of England.
The purpose and remit of the Business Development Manager role includes: Development of new business in London, South East areas with end user organisations, consultants, and property management organisations servicing major players in the corporate and public sectors.
Identifying opportunities in the territory, taking the opportunity from initial contact to negotiating and closing the sale. Ensuring that contact is made at a senior level with key decision makers and that our client is added to the tender list for such contracts.
Build a sales pipeline of leads and opportunities that will ensure that the sales target will be met for the year.
The Business Development Manager Skills and experience required for this role:-
Must have a proven track record in services and / or solution sales Ideally they will have experience selling Building Maintenance Solutions including M&E Services and will have dealt with contracts over 100k in annualised contract revenue. Commercially astute, ideally have experience in hard services although for the right candidate this is not essential.
Personal charisma, be able to identify potential business opportunities, be able to set up appointments at a senior level with those potential customers, develop the opportunities to ensure that our client is added to the tender list and becomes the preferred supplier, estimate and prepare tender documentation and secure the contract. Team player, relationship builder able to communicate and present solutions at Board Level and negotiate and close sales. Capable, passionate and enthusiastic Business Development Manager with the will to win, who is tenacious especially when dealing with long sales cycles.
The candidate must be IT literate with CRM experience
