Lloyd Recruitment Services have a fantastic job opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join a thriving property development business with a London HQ. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to look after smaller schemes and assist the Project Manager on a day to day basis. You will be assisting with projects within London and the South East and will split your time between the office and on site.

You will work alongside senior PM's and will have an excellent opportunity to advance your career.

Duties will include:
• Assisting the Project Manager and participate in risk, value and opportunities management
• Preparing reports alongside the Project Manager as well as overseeing the control of projects
• Assisting with the pre-construction process
• Procurement of professional services
• Chairing project progress meetings
• Managing and coordinating design teams
• Making key strategic decisions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Reporting on project progress both internally and externally
• Contract administration
• Create the procurement programme in conjunction with PM
• Monitor progress against the programmes
• Manage and maintain RFI's
• Coordinate Contractor, subcontractor and project team meetings both on and off-site
• Assisting the PM with negotiating construction contracts and managing the construction phase
• Identifying and putting forward to the PM new contracting firms and suppliers
• Producing tender documentation at draft stage
• Agreeing on fees with suppliers and consultants
• Project reporting against the construction programme
• Overseeing the planning applications for assigned projects
• Assist with take on of the building from Acquisitions
• Assist with handover to sales agents
• Ensure all buildings are fully insured ready for purchase and during the construction process

Experience and Skills needed:
• Must have good communication skills, assist in project administration and have some experience with working alongside contractors and subcontractors
• You must have experience in delivering PD conversions and be confident in liaising with contractors, design teams etc.
• Ideally you will have a strong property background with experience of working client side (would be advantageous but not essential)
