The Estates Services department are seeking to make the key appointment of a Senior Project Manager to play a role in the delivery of the University's major capital programme, with investment estimated at c. £200m during the next 5 years. Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Senior Project Manager will lead a diverse range of capital projects ranging from £3m to £50m in value. You will lead a project team of internal and external professionals and will act as the University's lead from the inception and development of projects through to delivery and completion.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project leadership roles with responsibility for planning and managing estate development projects in environments with comparable characteristics to those found at the University. With a strong technical background in construction and property, you will be experienced in leading the design development, procurement and delivery phases of projects of a complex and technically challenging nature.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will work with a diverse range of stakeholders both within and outside of the University.
