Role: BI Analyst|

We are looking for a self-starter who will develop into a BI Analyst and you will be expected to start adding value immediately.
Duties will include:
. Delivering the BI service strategy and cultivate customer relationship for the service
. Responsible for the integrity, maintenance, support and development of budgeting and forecasting reports
. Proactive in improving performance through development and routine maintenance to ensure a stable and reliable service

. Assist in support, maintenance and documentation of current BI reports and environment
. Assist in support, maintenance, development and administration of Cognos TM1 and data warehouses
. Assist in testing and optimising reports, cubes, SSIS packages
. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the current implementation & models
. Actively support in providing training to users
. Work across the business to develop innovative reports, analytics solutions to key business issues
. Provide advice and assistance to all areas of the business
. Learn how to convert functional/business report requirements into technical solutions utilising the full project lifecycle
. Manage incidents, problems and changes to the service efficiently and effectively following the agreed and documented processes
. Act as a first line escalation point to other team members and managed service providers
. Support the IT function and business by adhering to and maintaining our best practice processes and procedures.
. Participate in a variety of regular IT meetings
. Work as part of a team, with high degree of collaboration across the function
. Strong communications across functions and levels
. You will have achieved (or be expected to achieve) at least a 2.1 in any IT or Maths related degree discipline.
. Any programming knowledge will be highly desirable
. Able to write and understand advanced T-SQL queries
. Be a logical thinker with excellent problem solving ability
. Have strong communication & presentation skills
. Be methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure
. Self motivated, energy & drive
. Team player
