My client is a home grown business success story. Their business started around 50 years ago, and since then they have grown to be the absolute global leader within their field.

As an organisation my client invests a lot of money in technology, and their IT department is seen as a core function and is very close to the business as a whole. As such the infrastructure environment is very diverse, giving you the opportunity to work with the latest / cutting edge technologies.

You will be integral in the running of IT operations for all 50 executive members of staff in London. The role will require you to cover a number of hardware and software packages and systems, providing proactive support and problem solving skills. You will have to think on your feet and hit the ground running and be happy to deal with Senior members of staff daily.

Key Responsibilities:

** Responsible for providing deskside support to all 50 Executive users in the London office.

** Responsible for the setup, configuration and support for Windows Desktop, Laptops, Tablets, Mobile, Printers and all conferencing systems.

** Ensuring that there are no connectivity issues with conference meetings and everything is running smoothly, providing hands on support when needed.

** Reviewing ticket ques, troubleshooting where applicable or escalating to support team in Glasgow.

** Documenting all issues and creating SOB's.

** Training others in the operation of VC systems.

** Proactively working to improve operations and service provided.

Desirable skills:

** Experience providing a high level of technical support to Senior Management, CEO's, CFO's, Executives, stake holders and PA's.

** Experience working in an IT Support environment providing 1st/2nd line support for Active Directory, Laptops, Printers, Desktop, Citrix Products, Adobe, Exchange, Microsoft Products and Motorola Hand held devices.

** Understanding of AC/VC conferencing systems.

** ITIL accreditation would be an advantage.
