IT Support Technician|
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Technician to join a fast growing technology company. The company leading provider of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing solutions and is expanding rapidly overseas as well as developing a number of market leading innovations.
We are looking for a hands on support technician to join our IT team and support the company?s in house IT systems. As part of the IT team you will carry out various tasks ranging from PC/Laptop repairs to desk moves, we need you to be able to do 1st and 2nd line support. This role would suit an IT enthusiast, with an interest in the latest technology and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
Provide 1st-2nd line support to staff
Support the company?s mobile phone fleet (Windows mobile/IOS/Android)
Support the company?s computer fleet including desktops, laptops and tablet computers
Assist in build and setup of workstations
Monitor tickets and chase for updates/action if required, and escalate problems as appropriate
IT related admin
Occasional travel to branch offices where necessary
Friendly and well mannered, this is as much a customer service role as it is a technical one
Good knowledge of Microsoft software
Ability to diagnose and repair various hardware and software problems
Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques
Experience building or upgrading PCs
Willing to learn
Eligible to work in the UK
Previous experience within a customer service role
Experience with Microsoft Exchange
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
CompTIA A+ certification
Valid UK driving license
The successful candidate will be able to work a rotational shift pattern between 07:00 ? 19:00 Monday ? Friday 37.5 hour week.
