We are currently looking for break fix field engineers, in the Birmingham area. This is a self-managed, field-based role, with the opportunity to meet a wide variety of interesting customers, and interact with a friendly team of schedulers, who are committed to excellent customer service. Engineers are allocated an average of 6-10 calls per day, which pay on a per job basis. There is also an opportunity to earn extra with a monthly bonus based on customer satisfaction surveys. Routes are planned by the engineers, and experience with route planning would be an advantage. Successful engineers will be working on a range of computer hardware, candidates with experience with Laptops and desktops would be of particular interest. The role also requires use of your own vehicle and tools, however a tablet will be provided.|
To be successful in this role, you will be well-presented, have excellent communication skills, and be customer focused. You should have experience of dealing with customer issues, excellent first time fix rates and the ability to keep the customer informed throughout to ensure a successful conclusion. You will have a basic knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, and installation of drivers. Attention to detail is important, as is the ability to follow processes and manage paperwork. Above all, you should have pride in your work, be target driven, and aim to achieve the best possible customer feedback. Paid on a per-job basis.
Average earnings are £120 per day. You will need to have a full UK driver's license, and be happy to undergo a CRB check.
