Title: Research & Data Insight Analyst
Location: Bath Row, Birmingham
Salary: £26,847 rising to £28,261 per annum after successful completion of probationary period
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Contract Type: Permanent
We are living through a data revolution and as an organisation we need to harness this information and decide how best to collect, analyse and visualise it to ensure that we are providing the most effective service for our communities. We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Data Insight Analyst to work in the Research & Data Insight team to help take forward this agenda.
This role provides an exciting new opportunity and will suit anyone with a passion for data and how it can be used to provide meaningful insight. You will be excited by new and emerging data trends, such as Big Data, Data Science, Customer Insight and Data Analytics. You will be expected to make use of all sources of data, from internal to sector-wide and 'open data' and be adept at applying innovative techniques to help manipulate, analyse, and visualise your findings. This will require a good eye for detail (and numbers), a sound understanding of statistics as well as good working knowledge of a variety of analytical/GIS packages.
Working closely with the Director of Communications & Data Insight and the and the Research & Data Insight Manager, the Data Insight Analyst will be responsible for supporting a function that is highly effective at interrogating and evaluating internal and external data; to inform better decision making across the areas of stock intelligence, market intelligence, strategic research, impact evaluations, customer insight and operational data analysis.
