A go-to-firm for eDiscovery are looking for an experienced Computer Forensic Consultant to join their fast-growing eDisclosure team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years` experience working in the digital forensics field, with a Computer Forensics degree, and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with key business decision makers and networks.|
This is a unique opportunity for someone with the right skill set to help shape and develop an expanding division by effectively utilising your knowledge and experience in digital forensic laboratory practices and procedures. We have a diverse client-base and so you will need to demonstrate that you are able to manage multiple concurrent computer and mobile device projects with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone with experience of search & seizure, civil search orders, client site attendance, working in covert operations and hostile environments; experience of a client facing role and scoping small and large scale investigations from point of seizure to close of case; and experience of writing technical reports and witness statements, or providing expert witness testimony or witness of fact.
In addition, you will be encouraged to use your expertise to implement initiatives that will streamline and/or support current processes in order to help develop the team and service line. Having an interest in delivering technical training and mentoring to junior team members would also be beneficial.
Technically, you will need to have experience in using UFED, XRY, OFS, MPE, Flasher Boxes, and USIM Detective as well as using industry standard tools i.e. EnCase, FTK, FTK Imager, Solo, Tableau, Live Boot CDs, IEF, Password Cracking tools and NUIX. Sound knowledge of Windows, UNIX, Linux based OS and filesystems, server topology and a range of server backup software/hardware including extraction and cataloguing is also essential. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and smart devices is also beneficial.
