About the Role:
We have a vacancy for an experienced and qualified electrician to join our multi-discipline property maintenance team who are based in Blackheath, South East London however also support our site at Beckenham, Kent when required. We need an enthusiastic and self-motivated electrician with a customer oriented approach.
You will be required to attend to both domestic properties for our beneficiaries and commercial/private tenants to carry out a range of electrical contracting duties and can include rewires, new installations, consumer unit upgrades, testing, fault finding.
You`ll have a recognised electrician`s qualification including Levels 1, 2 City and Guilds or equivalent and a 17th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification being essential. Experience of fault finding and testing of domestic electrical circuits is preferred. You will need to have a clean driving license and your own hand tools, however we will provide you with access to a shared vehicle, a uniform and PPE to use when on duty.
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude towards work and be a team player as well as being able to work alone or without any supervision. Having good communication skills (both verbally and written) is also essential as this role will be dealing with our beneficiaries and tenants on a daily basis.
