Mechanical Labourer - Field Based |

Deliver support to UK field engineering staff
Conduct mechanical/electrical repair/replacement of forecourt equipment as allocated by service department
Support the senior tech's within the team on two- man jobs, confined space entry/installation & Commissioning and where other business requirements dictate
Gain product knowledge and experience from senior engineers within the team
Responsible for undertaking basic mechanical/electronic repairs e.g. hose changes, filters etc.
Adhere to company and regulatory H&S procedures and policies at all times
Attend training courses as workload dictates
Maintain high levels of personal professionalism in a customer facing role
Complete company reports and return in a timely manor
As per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Employee's must also:
• Take care of their own health and safety and that of others
• Co-operate with their employers
• Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety
Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):
Hold a full UK manual driving licence
Have experience in the use of a range of hand tools including screwdrivers, spanners & socket-sets.
Flexible approach to the working day that could involve travelling, overtime and working away from home.
Ability to work as part of a small team or alone
UKPIA certification (within one month of start date)
Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable):
•Knowledge of PC Hardware, Networking and IT troubleshooting
•Hold a qualification in an engineering discipline
• Once in position candidate to receive training in line with Health & Safety Law.
• Permanent contract (6 month probation period)
• Structured grade levels for progression

The salary will be £16,000 as this is a junior role for someone to work on basic mechanical repairs
