Civil Engineering Site Agent- Energy from Waste Facility |
Boston - Lincolnshire
6-month contract - Circa £350 a day
A UK leading infrastructure organisation is looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Site Agent to support and manage a multi-disciplined site team dedicated to the build of an Energy from Waste facility in Boston. Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a site team inclusive of direct staff and specialist subcontractors, ensuring the project is delivered in alliance to company and client specifications on time and to budget.
*This is a multi-million-pound project with possible work until at least Summer 2017; my client is a leading industry contractor with also works nationwide to move onto*
The successful Site Agent will be responsible for all aspects of the project, covering civil packages including piling, formwork, reinforced concrete, groundworks as well as coordinating M&E installation works. Key responsibilities:
Involved in all aspects of the delivery of projects including programming, commercial and design.
Carrying out quality control of packages of work.
Reporting in to the Project manager giving daily updates.
Overseeing and responsible for all site staff including subcontractors.
Attending various meetings including client, consultancy and project director.
Dealing with technical queries that arise on and off site.
The successful Site Agent will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Strong background in civil engineering with M&E exposure as an advantage. Project experience considered will cover bridges, structures, highways, water, waste water, environment
Formal qualification - e.g. HNC is a minimum in construction related discipline ideal, Civil Engineering preferred.
Travelable/happy to lodge for the scheme
