Field Service Engineers - Milton Keynes |
Hertfordshire / Buckinghamshire / West Essex / Oxfordshire Region c£27k + car + overtime
Our client specialise in the supply and support of a diverse range of special purpose Mailing, Packaging and Labelling machinery for clients throughout the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit two experienced, enthusiastic and highly self motivated Field Service Engineers to complement their established and successful team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful field service engineers candidates will be home based and tasked with performing installation, planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown and repair activities to clients across the Essex region and the UK on an array of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment associated with the mail handling industry.
With equipment maintained including desktop and industrial ink-jet printers and systems, desktop folding and industrial high speed inserting machines, label affixers, tabbing machines, polywrapping equipment and envelope sealing machines, you will demonstrate exceptional customer facing and communication skills along with a proven electrical mechanical background, preferably gained in servicing and maintaining similar equipment.
In addition to performing remedial repair activities on customer sites and hardware installations when required, you will be skilled in recognising situations requiring a service call escalation and in providing the support required to close service events promptly within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the customer. You will report regularly to the Service Controller (so excellent written skills are also required) and liaise with customers of all levels, validating actual problems and the associated correct parts to be used for service as appropriate whilst at the same time identifying opportunities for areas of improvement and increased efficiency throughout the business where applicable.
To be considered for these varied and challenging field service engineers roles, it is envisaged that you will possess relevant engineering qualifications (multi skilled electrical / mechanical) and a full, clean driving licence. A company car, uniform and required tools are provided and overtime is paid when required. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi skilled engineer to progress their career within an established and successful organisation committed to the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
