Commercial Heating - Pipefitter / Installer

Lord Combustion Services Ltd are one of the longest established and fastest growing HVAC Service & Maintenance companies within the West Midlands. We undertake design, installation, service and maintenance of commercial appliances and associated heating / hot water systems. We are proud of what we have achieved to date and strive to better ourselves year on year.

We are currently looking for a Commercial Heating - Pipefitter / Installer carrying out installation of pipework, plant and associated equipment. Duties will also include repairing leaks and Gas safety pipework checks. Experience in welding would be an advantage.

We are looking to recruit field-based Commercial Heating - Pipefitter / Installers to install, maintain and repair quality heating installations and provide excellent customer service to our clients and long term contracts. You will be the face of the company and have excellent knowledge and understanding of Commercial Gas and associated equipment as a minimum.

Key Skills:
Installing pipework, boilers and associated equipment (pumps etc) including soldered, screwed and crimped pipework. Experience and skills in welding pipework would also be an advantage but is not essential.
Works within commercial properties to a high standard. Conforming to Gas Safety Installation and Use Regulations
Current ACS Gas Qualifications
Additional LPG, catering, oil qualifications / experience are an advantage, but not a requirement Self-motivated, organised and able to manage modest paperwork volumes

Outstanding attitude towards customer care ensuring a courteous approach is adapted at all times
Provide guidance, support and any instruction for trainees who may work within your team when required
Particular attention to detail whilst protecting clients' property
Have a flexible approach to working hours
Strictly adhere to Health and Safety procedures and all relevant Industry Regulations
Have a Professional approach to work and be able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, with the ability to adapt to situations and proactively work to achieve personal and company goals
Must have previous experience of a similar role
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the role, which may be allocated from time to time.

Full driving licence (with a maximum of 6 points).

Working Hours & Benefits:
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (evening and weekend callouts will be required but will be covered by rota system)
20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays rising to 25 days after 3 years service
