Service Planning Co-ordinator (Temp) - Sunbury-upon-Thames - £11.00

I am currently recruiting for a large engineering organisation based in Sunbury-upon-Thames for a Service Planning Co-ordinator on a temp basis for approximately 6 months.


To successfully manage service workload and drive planning efficiencies in the field. Ensuring customer SLA and PPM commitment are met; achieving results through the field to meet service targets.

Working Hours:

40 Hour/Week (08:30 - 17:30 including 1 hour lunch to be taken between 12:00 - 14:00)

Key Responsibility / Accountabilities:

* Working with FOM's and FOP's to ensure engineers planning is at optimum level; assisting in driving engineer/ field performance
* Achieving customer SLA's
* Forming and maintaining relationships with field, helpdesk, key accounts, logistics, and operations.
* Service call management - Baan/FV.
* PPM monthly planning commitment.

Core Workload:

* Planning service calls to engineers: breakdowns, quoted works, ppm.
* Planning with Key Account SLA's, escalations, daily securities.
* Daily communication with engineers on workload/ bookings - email/ phone.
* Manage escalations bar:

* Raising follow ups in Baan for engineer to return with parts
* Asset update
* Sending calls to quotation team
* Escalating/ updating Key Account

* Incomplete report - daily
* Conflict report - daily
* Hours accounting for engineers - daily
* Planning and booking in quoted works with customers.
* PPM planning/ booking in services
* Chasing parts for incomplete works.
* Baan/ FV error management
* Other service ad-hoc duties that may arise.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience / Competencies:

* Ability/Experience of planning/ scheduling to meet customer/ business needs.
* Ability/Experience dealing with Engineers and Field Management.
* Ability to work to tight timescales and under pressure
* Ability to prioritise workload, applying flexibility where needed to planning
* Strong communication skills
* Practical problem solver and desire to overcome daily challenges
* Able to take initiative and be self-driven
* Customer focused
* A team player that can work well with others
* IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office suite of packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
