Electrical Maintenance Technician role in Accrington, paying £26,000 per annum |

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, with a heavy worldwide presence. They work with organisations of all sizes and all sectors both within the UK and internationally . They are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Your new role
Your main responsibility is to carry out electrical maintenance on various production & packaging machinery. You'll be required to respond to machine breakdowns and keep production downtime to a minimum, recording all information on a computer maintenance management system. You'll also provide technical support for the production team where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer, with experience in a similar environment. You'll be required to have an apprenticeship or equivalent as well as 17th Edition wiring regulations and City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Discipline. You'll be proficient in fault finding and planned maintenance. PLC experience is advantageous along with AC/DC drives and tension control systems. Whilst this is a day shift role, there is opportunity for overtime therefore flexibility on hours is advantageous.
