Reporting to the Director of Marketing, we're is looking for a marketer who is detail-oriented that can help with the more process-driven activities of the marketing department. The ideal candidate is one that is thinking two steps ahead of the task at hand. Communication skills, including impeccable spelling and grammar, are required. Experience coordinating events is required. The candidate must be experienced in using Excel for building budgets and tracking revenue & expenses associated with events and other marketing projects. We develop accounting and ERP software for the small business market. We sell through a channel of consultants and Value Added resellers. As our buyers are primarily accountants, there is a greater need to ensure that our communications are accurate and error-free. Attention to detail and process is a priority for the role. The candidate will be proficient with Constant Contact, CRM, Excel, Word, and image editing software such as Adobe Illustrator. The candidate will also have thorough understanding of social platforms Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, including best practices for managing the accounts. The candidate will be able to break-down a project into its individual tasks, with assignment of resources, dependencies and deadlines, and be able to manage the project to successful completion. Key Responsibilities: Edit and publishing newsletters (semi-monthly) Develop content marketing strategies for the website Coordinate seminars and webinars - create and manage budgets, book venues, distribute invitations, manage registrations Manage the CRM database, in support of database & email marketing Monitor performance of Adwords campaigns, social campaigns, etc. Manage social media accounts; track social media stats Skills Required:Marketing or communications degree or diplomaStrong written and verbal communicationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAccuracy and attention to detailTeam player, highly flexibleSocial media marketingAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projectsMS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel)
