Job Description:

As a key member of the Wajax team, the Technical Sales Representative - Pumps and Mechanical Repair Services will be responsible for the selling and marketing of Wajax Pump products and Mechanical Repair Services solutions and for achieving annual sales NA Responsibilities:• Continually source and prospect new clients; conducting sales calls including cold calls and lead and referral follow up to present product solutions and increase sales in assigned territory.• Responsible for identifying and building relationships with decision makers within the existing accounts, creating an on-going relationship strategy, cultivating partnering relationships, and establishing WIC as a trusted advisor• Develops relationships and opportunities related to new accounts and assists in opportunity identification to move Top accounts into National accounts• Reviews and provide input on target client opportunities while ensuring alignment with overall account strategy• Tracks market information pertaining to customer, projects and competitor activities. Identify and understand competitive landscape for industry vertical• Responsible for forecasting, delivering and adjusting accounts to ensure success against contract terms• Accountable for the research and development of insights into the account marketplace including assisting with new client business opportunities• Coordinates with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts• Become a strategic partner with account customers and move from transactional sales to a consultative sales model, creating the "value proposition" Position RequirementsYour Skills and Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor degree / College diploma• Work Experience: Minimum 4 years with a proven track record in attaining/exceeding account management and sales goals• Knowledge: Leadership level industry experience and knowledge of industry sectors an asset• Strong relationship management, networking and account strategy capabilities in a diverse multi-account environment• Proven negotiation, presentation, selling and closing skills• Deep expertise in subject matter, industry and market playersWhy join Wajax?Wajax offers an engaging, stimulating, and rewarding workplace.
