RESPONSIBLITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:|
Participate in project teams to design, review, and improve Life Science processing facilities with emphasis in upstream/downstream processing, purification, fill-finish and core base utilities supporting: Clean Steam (CS), Water for Injection (WFI), Clean In Place (CIP/COP), Purified Water (USP PW/RO-DI), Process Gases, etc.
Perform process simulation and studies including sizing and specification of process equipment.
Perform specification and design, installation, start-up and commissioning.
Prepare project plans for equipment/facility improvements including schedules, budgetary estimates and capital spending requests. Develop/modify SOPs, specifications, drawings, equipment manuals, commission and qualification documents and maintenance procedures.
Analysis of systems, equipment, utilities to support trouble-shooting, system diagnosis, and problem resolution of equipment and facilities.
Participate in sales with lead generation, presentations, proposals and successfully interface with clients, project managers, and engineering professionals.
Assist with proposal and quote development as needed by sales & marketing team.
Participate with CPS companies to develop new products and improve current product offerings.
Keep abreast of life science industry trends and technologies. Attend ISPE, other trainings, networking events and tradeshows as requested by CPS sales & marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, preferred 3+ years of Pharmaceutical or Biotech related process engineering experience and solid knowledge of cGMP requirements, aseptic processing (including systems and equipment) and FDA regulations.
