Nickel West Mt Keith - Maintenance Execution Superintendent
An outstanding leadership opportunity exists for a passionate, driven and skilled Maintenance Superintendent based at Mt Keith Processing plant location at the Mount Keith operation. Reporting directly to the Processing Manager, this role will see you providing direction and leadership to the Maintenance Team, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control in the Concentrator at Mount Keith Operation.. This position represents outstanding opportunities for a high performing and career driven individual to join a mature and high achieving team.
The successful candidate will be joining a highly experienced and successful maintenance and operations team and as such extensive knowledge, support and training in the plant, operations and management will available to ensure career succession and success in the role.
As the leader of the department you will be responsible leadership of the multidisciplinary maintenance team in a well develop maintenance and processing environment. You will ensuring the safety leadership and risk management of the team including responsible for critical controls across the site while undertaking the effective application of preventative and breakdown maintenance during both normal operations and shutdown. This will be achieve with effective uptime and work management analysis, cost management and reduction and the effective application of capital.
Your contribution will be as part of the Processing Lead team working closely with Production operation, production and maintenance planning and shutdown planning teams.
Skills and Requirements
This role is paramount in ensuring BHPB safety standards are adhered to, including risk assessment, statutory compliance and engagement of all staff and contractors.
