About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM is currently seeking a Special Programs Program Manager to support its operations at WPAFB, OH.
Applies a full range of acquisition program management and sustainment philosophies, policies, and procedures, to perform a wide range of acquisition/sustainment management activities in support of the existing and future programs in the B-2 Division. Applies an understanding of current Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force acquisition instructions, guidelines, policies, and processes. Supports the acquisition program management of full life cycle requirements for systems, subsystems, and equipment. Assists with the development of documentation, such as, but not limited to, Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), PWSs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Urgent Operational Need (UON), Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Documents (CPD), Service/Air Force Core Function Master Plan (CFMP), Analysis of Alternatives, Sustainment Metrics, Technical Reviews, and Life Cycle Cost, Modeling, and Simulation. Supports the review of proposals as assigned by the customer. Assists in the coordination of documentation between functional resources (to include: financial, management, procurement, systems/software engineering, testing, and logistics) and assist with the consolidation of their inputs into common documents; assisting in planning for the accomplishment of various program milestones. Provides assistance in risk management, project management, process improvement support, and logistics support. Participates in meetings supporting the B-2 Division and its programs, e.g., Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Life Cycle Integration Team (LCIT) activities, Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, and Product/Process Improvement Working Group activities, Interface Control Working Groups (ICWG), Test Plan Working Groups (TPWG), etc. Assists in the collection of programmatic inputs from weapons systems program offices for defining, developing, and managing the acquisition and development/upgrades to the various B-2 Division aircraft configurations. Performs, as required, a non-voting, advisory role for program source selections on all acquisition related requirements. Assists in determining program progress, effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management. Applies program knowledge for developing and coordinating responses to taskers in response to internal and external program inquiries
Master's degree and minimum of 10 years of experience. Will work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Program management experience supporting/leading Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1 or 2 weapon systems programs, and one modernization related acquisition phase (e.g. Milestone A, B, or C, Low Rate Initial Production/Full Rate Production.
Must currently possess and maintain a Top Secret government security clearance at the required level.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard (Customer specified) applications.
Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Physical Skills and Abilities:
May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard and monitor.
