Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineer for our Las Vegas, NV location. This position has a start date of January 2, 2017.

Through collaboration with all AECOM legacy entities, Industrial Manufacturing will establish a design build/EPC design and construction organization to service our clients' needs in the manufacturing and mission critical markets. This group will supply world-class project execution solutions to our clients throughout the world, focusing on automotive, foods and consumer products and mission critical markets.

Level Specific Responsibilities:
  • Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
  • Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
  • Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction or an engineering discipline from a 4-year accredited college or university

  • Entry-level position. Must have less than 12 months of relevant post graduate professional engineering or field engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience such as an internship working in a field engineering or project engineering capacity on a construction job site
  • BIM Technology software experience
Additional Information:
  • Qualified application who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
