About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
Candidate will function as an integral team member comprised of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide analysis expertise in support of CPRG/PMA-262 Broad Area Maritime Surveillance - Demonstrator (BAMS-D) flight operations, required/directed exercises and/or experiments. He/she will participate as a BAMS-D Tactical Auxiliary Ground Station (TAGS) crew member performing operational mission analysis, webpage and database management/ manipulation. Analyzes and researches material to gain a thorough technical understanding of a complex subject area supporting a task assignment which may include one or more of the following analysis: strategic planning and analysis; demand and capacity analysis; safety and risk analysis; system operation performance analysis; and information analysis in support of the Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) and the warfighter.
Coordinate and work closely with other BAMS-D flight operations team, engineering, and logistics disciplines to define, and refine system specifications and requirements for the future BAMS Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Bachelors' degree preferably in a discipline such as: Operations Research, Business/Economics, or Statistics. In lieu of the Bachelors degree requirement, other special or market-scarce skills may be substituted. A minimum of 8 years experience in one or more of the following areas: research and analysis; statistical analysis; development of operational lessons-learned; conducting complex multi-discipline information and analyses in support of a research and development technical staff.
Six years of job-related specialized experience is required. Specific experience in the intelligence collection process in support of the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) community. Operational hands-on experience is important. USN Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft/Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Forces (MPRA/MPRF) experience desirable.
