A Planning and Design Consultancy based in the beautiful countryside of Oxfordshire are looking to expand the Heritage division of their Town Planning department. Currently required is a Heritage and Conservation Consultant with ideally a track record of working on a number of Heritage projects. Being one of the most respected firms in Oxfordshire, they are able to offer fantastic scope and challenges in order to develop your career further.
To work alongside a Principal or Associate on Heritage based projects affecting the South East of England. The Heritage and Conservation Consultant will be expected to go through the whole planning process as well as liaising with the client with direction given from other members of staff. All work will be in line with both RTPI and IHBC legislation and you can also expect to receive full training. The role will allow you to work in various aspects of the market including Conservation, Heritage and Education and will include both office and on site work.
The Heritage and Conservation Consultant will need a degree and post graduate qualification in a recognized discipline and demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills. Any commercial experience from the private sector will make you a front runner although applications from public sector roles will also be considered. The Heritage and Conservation Consultant will hold full membership of either the RTPI and/or IHBC or be in the process of doing so.
