BTFS is a subsidiary of the BT Group of companies and operates an all-encompassing building support service across BT's vast UK estate. We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Project Manager to join us on a permanent basis covering Ireland based from Belfast. You'll need a good understanding of procurement, governance and management of projects as you will be responsible for delivering a busy project workload within your region.

Duties include:

• Assist with planning and delivery of project works across your region (and nationally where required)
• Ensuring that all projects within your team are being delivered to the agreed time, cost and quality
• Follow, adhere, implement and improve on required H&S and Quality processes
• Manage and enhance customer relationships by providing a first point of contact
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors for projects, providing feedback on performance for future works
• Produce reports and analysis on time, cost and quality
• Ensure that the Projects and Construction team policies and procedures are appropriate and being implemented throughout the business
• Undertake contract administration including variations to contract, instructions and early warning notifications
• Provide managers with weekly and monthly financial status updates and log this on the system
• Review supplier performance, price, submissions and negotiate the best deals possible


• Likely to have 2 years relevant experience and be fully/part qualified with a construction/real estate degree
• Strong IT skills, ideally to an advanced level on Microsoft packages
• Experience of supporting a wider team and be a committed team player
• Full UK driving license and the flexibility to travel regularly
