Asbestos Removal Supervisor with Shot Blasting Experience|
Fixed Term Contract
ION Environmental Solutions has recently won new contracts and is looking for an experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor(s) with Shotblasting Experience to join our company based near Chelmsford, Essex. ION has ambitious growth plans and is backed by the £450m+ Carey construction Group.
Built on strong, robust finances, the Carey Group is a growing multi-disciplinary construction company specialising in asbestos removal, civil engineering, concrete structures, building, demolition and waste management.
You will have a proven track record of supervising site teams & experience in shot blasting and asbestos removal work, of managing sites, including site paperwork and health & safety, and of working closely with Contract managers. We provide excellent variety of work and you will have the opportunity to work nationwide across different sectors.
We actively promote from within and invest in our people, but the following skills & qualifications are essential for the quality of work & clients we are involved with:
• Shot Blasting Experience is essential
• 'Licensed Asbestos Supervisor' Refresher
• RSPH Level 3 Supervisor (or working towards it)
• Valid CSCS Card (Asbestos Supervisor Red or Gold Card)
• A full clean driving licence and ability to tow
• Medical (current) and Face Fit (Full and Half Mask)
The following certificates would also be advantageous: First Aid at Work; PASMA; Working at Height.
Please note, we are only seeking applications from those with up-to-date industry certification and at least 2 years Supervisor experience in asbestos removal work.
