40 hours per week 7am till 3.30 PM (These may be flexible)
Based out of Chiddingstone Causeway but travel is required.
My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition, and are in The Times Top 100 Companies to work for.
They are recruiting for a Plumber to join their maintenance team to support the HOM and his No. 2. The role will call for project work to include all aspects of plumbing maintenance and refurbishment projects of occupied and tenanted properties within the Group and external client list. This is an ideal position for someone who is a qualified Plumber who has a good knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) when attending site.
•To install, repair, maintain plumbing systems residential, commercial, institutional, industrial or public buildings
•The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
•The Plumber reads blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems
•The Plumber will then plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls. These piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids.
•Plumbers work in cooperation with other trades and labourers to ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project
•Providing adequate services will ensure that all water supply networks and waste and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
•Certificates up to date
•Full Clean UK driving license and own van to begin with
•Own tools - These will be provided after successfully passing a probation period
•Ability to work on own initiative
•Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
•Practical and can do approach and professional when communicating
•Excellent time management and ability to multitask
•Good work ethic with an energetic approach
•Flexibility and commitment
