We are looking to further strengthen and grow our IT team with a dynamic and experienced MIS Manager.
To lead a dynamic MIS department to provide the organisation with managed access to comprehensive, reliable, relevant and up-to-date information and report facilities. To ensure that data and information required by all stakeholders, funding bodies and agencies is accurately prepared, submitted and available on a timely basis.
Provide the company with high quality reliable client data to support the company with management decision making and provides stakeholders with regular timely and accurate updates, statistical analysis and management reporting.
Leadership and Management
•Contribute to the development and successful delivery of an annual operating plan which supports the mission, objectives and core values.
•Lead and manage the MIS team, ensuring that staff are managed, trained, and motivated to meet the objectives and priorities.
•Develop and embed quality standards and service level agreements for the MIS team ensuring these are maintained and the effectiveness monitored and reviewed
Management Information Systems
•Maintain and develop the databases, ensuring that all data is held securely, with integrity and meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
•Manage and deliver timely and reliable information in accordance with agreed plans and schedules.
•Manage and develop effective and efficient processes and procedures for the capture and maintenance of data ensuring that information is robust and meets audit rules.
•Manage user access rights to the database to ensure that all inputs are made by appropriately trained and authorised staff.
•Develop and implement an internal audit process which regularly monitors the accuracy of the data, and which reports regularly to senior managers.
•Work closely with IT Support Manager to ensure innovative practices are made whilst continuing to meet audit requirements.
•To maintain documentary evidence to support the data as required by statute and audit regulations.
Front End Development
•A detailed understanding of front end development
•Must have worked and managed a UI development area, leading front end development plans
•Experience of managing Development projects from pitch to board, through to completion
•Managing regular reporting meetings
•You will need an excellent understanding of the development life cycle of business applications across a number of technologies.
•The ability to develop corporate dashboards and reporting on the SSRS platform.
•Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements and user-defined functions of varying complexity with a best practices approach to keys, indices and relationships in Microsoft SQL Server 2008
•Solid understanding of the delivery and set up of core data warehousing
•Strong people management and influencing skills
