Role Profile
* As a key member of the team reporting to the Service Design and Mobilisation Manager, you will be responsible for providing Service Design and Mobilisation support to the Sales, Bid Teams, Projects, and
* Operations teams in Technology Solutions.
* You will not only engage with all areas to define service offerings, but will work with the Bid and Sales teams to ensure high quality proposals are submitted, designing credible and deliverable service architecture that is fully costed and appropriate for the customer services required.

You will be responsible for:
* Working across Technology Solutions to develop the key service plans for all Support and Maintenance Operations, defining and documenting the key service offerings and the associated service costs for each offering.
* Providing pre-sales support to the Sales and Bid Team to help develop new opportunities and look for innovative solutions to enhance our service offerings.
* To develop fully detailed mobilisation plans for Support and Maintenance Services, working across the business to deliver these.
* Efficient mobilisation of new contracts and services in accordance with the tendered offering thus avoiding rework of designs, misunderstanding of commitments and early failure to meet customer requirements. Also for mobilisation between implementation to maintenance phases.
* Working with the Bid and Sales Teams to produce high quality, price competitive tenders and acting as the point of sign off for all services solutions during the bid process.
* Acting as an interface between Sales/Bidding, Engineering and the Operations organisation you will build a knowledge base of standard collateral and past performance of services offerings.
* Working with the Service Design and Mobilisation Manager to continue to develop, implement and maintain service design and transition processes within Technology Solutions business.

Typical Deliverables
* As a member of the Bid team, working with other team members to develop the strategy and alignment of operations, service design, and sales for new and existing customer support services.
* Working with the bid teams to support the construction of appropriate cost delivery models for Support and Maintenance Services.
* Work with the Operations and engineering teams to develop a robust and measurable service architecture that can deliver against new customer requirements, and that is scalable for future opportunities.
* Assist the Sales, Bidding, and Commercial teams in developing SLAs and associated terms that are relevant, measurable, and achievable by Support and Maintenance Operations.
* Work across the business to mobilise new support services, including the transition of projects into service.
* Identify, as part of service design, the skills, capabilities and functional requirements within operations to deliver service quality
* Identifying where other parts of the telent business may offer benefit and be aware of business capability.
* Be aware of external service standards and promote them where appropriate so that they may affect and better our proposals.

Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
* Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in an appropriate discipline is desirable. Depth and breadth of experience will be taken into account where these qualifications have not been attained.
* ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) V3 certifications.
* Previous experience in designing and transitioning services within a ICT and telecoms environment.
