Business Development Manager

The job

Improve the organizations market position and achieve financial growth, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Provide accurate, relevant and complete information to the customer and NSL by using the correct methods and tools.

Critical Purpose

To exceed customer's expectations and maintain fruitful relationships
Go the extra mile to engage customers
Generate sales for the business through new and existing customers
Pitching products and Services to new and existing customers

Tasks & Responsibilities

To liaise and build relationships with customers / suppliers / internal staff to achieve the Critical Purpose, while keeping a good balance between customer and business. Analyse, invoke and innovate alternative actions & strategies where required. Research organisations and individuals and their needs to identify growth.
Cold call, develop quotes and proposals, networking.
Communicate clearly the growth strategy and pipeline. Identify and grow opportunities within customer base.
Drive own learning. Protect NSL's commercially sensitive data.
Assist with design and creation of marketing material and social media.
To attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on market trends. Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Communicating new product developments to customer base.

Required Skills

Personable, Confident, Creative, Public Speaking
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail
Previous experience or relevant experience
Good knowledge of telecoms industry. Identification of the Customers' needs
High level of autonomy
Closing Skills. Motivation for Sales
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Computer literate (e-mail / Microsoft Office / database)
Customer facing experience, Exceptional communicator
