IT Service Desk Manager |
We are currently seeking an IT Service Desk Manager for a highly reputable organisation based in Central London. The role holder will be responsible for a team of six consisting of 1st line support analysts and 2nd/3rd line infrastructure engineers which you will be expected to grow. You will closely monitor the performance of the ITIL service desk and ensure appropriate actions are being taken to resolve problems and incidents. You will be a member of the IT leadership team and assist in delivering IT strategy to support the business and achieve objectives. You will continue to develop and manage the implementation of a highly responsive and reliable IT infrastructure division while always looking at ways you could improve efficiency. As well as taking this strategic view on you must not be afraid to get your hands dirty in the technical side of things. You will work alongside your team in fixing some of the more technical problems including but not limited to: networking, virtualisation/cloud technologies, server fixes and MS technologies. This role will very much be the face of the IT department so being able to build strong business relationships is essential. Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role previously that has a good amount of experience from both a management and technical standpoint. You will have proven team leadership experience and have a technical skillset including some of the following: Cisco, Checkpoint, VMWare, Windows server, WAN/LAN and Cloud technologies. Working in an ITIL environment previously is essential
