We are looking for a Senior MI Analyst to work for a fast growing financial services organisation based in BS10 area. The role involves creating and developing MI reports for all areas of the business and so will be ideal for a candidate with strong numeric and analytical skills.|
The successful candidate will be expected to develop new reports in SAS or SQL. They will need to liaise with all areas of the company, and so will need to be able to explain complex technical issues in a clear manner. A willingness to learn about new technologies and research new ways of achieving the goals of the team is essential. They will also be expected to help maintain and support existing processes, and if necessary, make them more efficient.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar MI team and so has experience of the production and support of MI reports and will have used SAS and SQL in a commercial setting. They will be flexible and able to quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment. Good communication skills with customers of all technical abilities are also a must.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of SAS including Base, Macro and ODS and similar experience of SQL, especially SAS SQL and MS SQL.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and its interaction with SAS will be an advantage.
- A degree in a Mathematics or Computing based subject.
The job is based close to the M4 and M5 motorways. It is 37.5 hours, run on a flexitime system. The holiday starts at 25 days, with the possibility of an additional 12 flexi days. The salary is £30,000 - £40,000, based on experience.
