Are you a Quality Manager with the ability to command outstanding quality and delivery to our customers? As a result of continued product diversification and our on-going investment in lean, we are seeking a driven Quality Manager to undertake a pivotal role within our progressive design, development and manufacturing organization.
We are an established business and operate as part of a global group, however we continue to evolve. As such this could be a real chance for you to make your mark on the quality culture within our manufacturing facility. A key part of this will include assisting us to implement TS16949 into the business.
We will rely on you as Quality Manager to exploit your quality expertise to increase our quality level and mindset across our complete value chain from Design, Purchasing / Supply Chain through to manufacture and production. The aim being to offer our customers outstanding service and value.
As Quality Manager your key accountabilities will encompass:
Identifying and driving quality targets and standards across the business and embedding a culture of lean quality
Ensuring compliance to the company's procedures and leading the implementation of the TS16949 quality system
Leadership of Supplier Quality Assurance activities in conjunction with purchasing
Development of lean quality processes and procedures that support and add benefit to all areas of the business.
Management of the company's audit system and corrective actions to ensure compliance to company quality procedures
You will likely be educated to degree level in an engineering or related discipline with a in depth background and knowledge of quality standards and systems gained within an electro-mechanical or electronic production / manufacturing environment. We are looking for TS16949 as an essential and a sound working knowledge of lean/ six sigma and statistical process control (SPC). First class leadership, communication and influencing skills a pre-requisite.
