My client is a successful manufacture of bespoke solutions to engineering problems. They are now looking for some one to join and lead a team that provide technical support to the both internal and external customers relating to a range of engineering products.

Key Responsibilities

Both customer and technical support of products by telephone and email
Creation of datasheets and online and printed catalogue material
Assisting with product Quality Assurance investigations
Handling requests for approvals certificates and other technical documents
Working with the Technical Team to evaluate new products
Creation of work instructions
Producing internal & external training presentations
Management of the technical work schedule
Allocation of technical support tasks within a small team
Take responsibility for the accuracy of the team s output
Any other tasks that may be delegated from time to time

Person Specification

8 GCSE Passes to include English and Mathematics and a Science subject at grade C or above
2 A-Level Passes
Degree or similar in and engineering or business management discipline

Minimum of 3 year2 experience within a technical or manufacturing environment
Supervisory experience
To have worked in a technical, technical quality or customer support role
To have worked in a customer facing role

Basic computer literacy
Basic experience of Excel and Word
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Computer competency
Intermediate or advanced user level experience of Excel and Word
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
