Job Title: Stores Supervisor|
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic (neg dependant on exp) + Flexible Benefits.
Our client who is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Cambridge is currently looking to recruit a Stores Supervisor. This newly created position reports to the Production Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the supervision of the stores and stock control activities to ensure that production and engineering supplies, spares and change part/PPM kits are available and to the required standard for planned and reactive maintenance.
Other responsibilities of the Stores Supervisor role include but are not limited to:
Contributing to the compilation of the Stores inventory strategic plan including spare parts, change parts, consumables and GMP clothing taking into account internal department requirements.
Compiling summaries of stock inventory and reporting on stock levels, usage, value and obsolescence ratios and indicators.
Ensure that stock levels are maintained at an optimum level consistent with maintenance and production requirements and that they are regularly reviewed and reported.
Ensure that positive relationships are built and maintained with suppliers and internal departments.
Suitable candidates for the Stores Supervisor role will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of GMP, inventory and spares materials management best practice, and other appropriate regulatory requirements relating to the management and storage of stock items. Knowledge of the Maximo CMMS system is highly desirable as is a working knowledge of Oracle purchasing systems.
