Automation Manager - Controls & Automation|
A major manufacturer who are part of a $billion global pharmaceutical company are continuing to grow their operation within the UK and as a result are now seeking an Automation Project Engineer to join the organisation.
Suitable candidates will have a proven background within controls and automation and as a senior engineer will be capable of running projects from initial concept to instillation and final sign off. You are likely to have previous hands on practical automation experience this includes the programming of Siemens S7 PLC's, general maintenance, diagnosis, trouble shooting, commissioning and process improvements.
This role has two parts, you will take responsibility for all the controls and automated systems within the plant and associated maintenance also be the lead engineer with given projects. This will include the overview of design, cost, validity, certification, acceptance testing, declaration of conformity, traceability and complete procedural and accountable documentation.
