Responsibilities for this Position:
General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is seeking an Entry Level Network Design Systems Engineer to join us in our Taunton, MA location. This is a great opportunity to use and grow your understanding of engineering concepts while learning new skills and collaborating with various personnel, as you support various areas of technologies ranging from computer network design, to wireless transmission design, to large system integration, to network management design.
As an Entry Level Network Design Systems Engineer you will have the opportunity to support Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) Increments 1, 2 and 3 activities. You will be able to spend your time diving into specific assignments that have defined performance expectations and deadlines. You'll get to network with new and experienced teammates, one of whom will be assigned as an advocate to provide behind-the-scenes info and answer questions. As part of the team you'll have a role in the systems engineering and design process: requirements analysis, design, development and integration, and internal reviews. You will have the opportunity to put your love of problem solving to work in a team environment.

The Entry Level Systems Engineer position requires a bachelor's degree in systems engineering, IT, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related technical field, or the equivalent experience.
A U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required within 24 months of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to travel 20% of the time
