Job Description:
Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening for an entry-level CADD Designer in the Boston, MA office. This is a great opportunity to begin your CADD career with one of the world's leading civil engineering consulting firms. The individual will have the opportunity to work as a team member on a variety of transportation and site development projects. The primary responsibility of this person is to maintain CADD consistency across projects, assist in the creation of and implementation of standards and promote the effective and efficient use of CADD on all projects. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possesses good communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
      • Perform computer assisted drafting and design to support civil engineering services.
      • Assist in development, documentation and communication of best practices of CADD technologies, including model sharing and coordination with other disciplines
      • Manage the initial set up of models to comply with office standards and best practices
      • Manage CADD standards, content libraries and templates
      • Engage with project teams to strategize, employ and maintain an effective CADD strategy for project deliverables
      • Assist in performing field visits required to support design
      • Organize and assist maintaining project CADD records
      • Performing Quality Control and Quality Assurance reviews of drawings

Job Requirements
      • Candidates must have a high school diploma
      • Specialized training in technical drafting preferred
      • Formal CADD training required
      • Proficiency in AutoCAD required
      • Experience with MicroStation and Navisworks a plus
      • Candidates must have the ability to immediately work in the United States
      • Local candidates only
