Reward Specialist
Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000.00 per annum plus excellent benefits
Permanent contract, available across either a 4 or 5 day working week
Location: Swindon
I am currently representing a highly regarded and award winning client within the professional services sector who have been recognised for developing long term solid relationships. They do this through understanding clients and adding value enabling them to grow and prosper. Due to the natural development of the organisation they are currently seeking an experienced Reward Specialist to take full ownership of Reward & Benefits. Reporting directly to the Head of HR this role requires a professional, strategically minded and analytical individual.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, drive and review an engagement strategy and plan to ensure staff are informed, engaged and motivated by our Pay and Reward approach
Compile a Pay and Reward strategy that meets the needs of the business and works towards the wider firm strategy
Develop current practices to improve and manifest the best approaches available to us, such as job evaluation, pay structure, bonus schemes and recognition approaches
Manage the relationship of third party suppliers such as payroll and pensions, meetings SLA's and reviewing contract renewals
Managing the end to end processes for annual salary reviews
Ensure annual benchmarking exercises are completed on time; making recommendations on proposed changes to rewards and benefits
Feed into HR policy documents giving the reward and benefits perspective on legislative compliance
Check HMRC liabilities and payment viewer reporting any discrepancies to Finance
Maintain systems and data where appropriate
Conduct annual market reviews
Monitor the payroll interface and where appropriate make recommendations for improvement
Skills, qualifications and experience required
Preferably CIPD Qualified
Proven Reward/ benefits experience
Significant understanding of benefits/ pensions regulation
Experience of managing medium/ long term HR Projects
Ability to communicate confidently and appropriately at all levels
Able to prioritise a busy workload effectively
Proficient user of Microsoft Office
Experience of Payroll systems & HRIS preferred
