ROLE: I seek a Mechanical Systems Engineer / Lead to undertake problem resolution with regards to Fresh Water, Sea Water cooling systems and Diesel Generator systems for a large Naval Ship Programme. Involved in Sea Trials specifically relating to Fresh Water and Sea Water Cooling (including specific tasks related to setting to work of Diesel Generator, Fresh Water Cooling, Waste, Heat Recovery System, Diesel Generator uptake redesign to incorporate noise reduction Palliateive measures).|
The job is to ensure that the design intent for mechanical systems is maintained through Stage 2 modelling, production outputs, build and commissioning and to support the ship programme. Specifically, to ensure that the Ship Spec and released schematics are not invalidated or compromised by the ongoing detailed design development (including change) build, test and commissioning. By acting as a local, first point of contact to the DDA. You will be responsible for minimising the number of issues that have to be referred back to the DDA.
