The Job
• Overall control and responsibility for the designated project;
• To establish, monitor and update all Project plans, budgets, programs and resources requirements;
• To establish the Project tendering procedures and conditions, structuring of contract packages and appointment, administration and payment of all subcontractors and suppliers;
• To identify, report and update the Contract changes and modifications to the relevant parties;
• To ensure the financial standing of the Contract is maintained at all times and reporting in line with Company Policy and that all opportunities are taken to minimize cost;
• To direct and manage the performances of responsibilities delegated to the subordinate staff employed in the Project;
• To coordinate all Project support and development of Project staff;
• To ensure the Project safety and environmental protection are in compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Acts and Site Safety Plan;
• To ensure the quality of works delivered is in accordance with the design and QA/QC Plan;
• To maintain professional relationship with Owner, Client, Consultant and Local Authorities;
• To ensure that all relevant notifications to the Client are delivered in the current form and within the necessary time frame;
• To monitor performance of subordinate staff employed in the Project and to identify deficiency and initiate both training on and off site for the development of the staff;
• To promote good morale, team spirit, industrial relations and enforce discipline where necessary;
• To ensure the portrayal of the Company’s image to the Company’s advantage at all time;
• Provide a positive example for all Company staff;
